I’m too sexy for that apron
By COD From http://www.odonnellweb.com • Oct 23rd, 2009 • Category: Blog Entries.LocalThe Wall Street Journal wants us to believe that doing more housework leads to more sex. I have no doubt it will eventually come out that this study is a sham and was sponsored by some women’s group in a weak and pitiful attempt to add some spice to the average marriage. I mean, come on ladies. If you want more sex all you have to do is ask. You don’t need to trick us into doing housework.
What? Did I not interpret the study properly?
I’ve tried this at home, it simply does not work. I have cleaned up the kitchen after dinner every night for years. Not once has my wife pulled the dirty frying pan from my hands and dragged me off to bed. I tried doing the laundry too. It didn’t turn her on. In fact, the opposite happened. She was so distraught after I shrunk her favorite sweater to Barbie sized that it’s a wonder our 2nd child was ever conceived. Apparently wool sweaters should not be tumble dried. Who knew?
The article also states that more time in the workforce correlates with more sex. Apparently two income families are so charged up by their exciting life in the office that they come home all fired up for a night of hot sex, after they do the ironing of course.
I don’t think it really works that way. I’d write more but Michelle just asked me to do the dishes, and study or no study, I’m not taking any chances
