Don’t vote for Creigh Deeds, because he stutters? Is this a campaign for 2nd Grade Class President?

After this speech (below), Bob McDonnell took the mic and said nothing to refute Sheila Johnson’s cheap shot.

UPDATE: The McDonnell campaign responds by saying that Sheila Johnson is merely pointing out that:

“Creigh Deeds has been unable to express any vision for Virginia’s future, and he regularly takes two positions on important issues.”

Right, it’s just an amazing coincidence that Creigh Deeds just happens to stutter occasionally when he talks.

Here’s what Johnson says in the video:

“We need people who can communicate,” Johnson said at the event, as McDonnell stood by in the audience. “And Bob McDonnell can communicate.”

Johnson then said other politicians she talks to can’t communicate, “especially his op-op-op-op-opponent.”

UPDATE II: Apparently Johnson disagrees with the McDonnell campaign, because she just apologized.

(And when the Deeds campaign initially responded to this, the McDonnell campaign accused them of attacking Sheila Johnson!)
